Everybody wants to be a damage dealer, whether they're a warrior, rogue, warlock, hunter, elemental shaman, feral druid, and even shadow priest; not many people want to sit back and heal. Every class that has healing capability doesn't want the responsibility of tossing first aid spells to people on the front line. Most anybody who plays this game wants to be doing the most dps.

It amazes me when shaman, and even priests who deliberately spec shadow for raid content refuse to give a healing spell. And every last one of them are apalled that they would have to do anything but deal damage.

Perhaps Blizzard can arrange ways for people to be able to purchase NPCs to heal for them in groups, raids, and pvp.

I'm shadow spec'd, but currently I am only level 38 and I think it's easier to level up with Shadow. I have every intention to respec to holy once I hit 55+. I heal constantly and never complain about it, it's why I rolled priest. Everyone seems to think that being a main healer is all about sitting back and just tossing heals around, but there's actually alot of excitment, close calls, and it can keep you on the edge of your seat. I've been MT before, and I've been DPS, but when it comes down to it... I prefer a healing class. I know that without me in the group, they wouldn't be doing what they're doing. Everyone else is always going for the best weapon, well I say... everyone else IS my weapon, and I am the hand that swings it. ;)

i'm a lvl 60 priest,53 hunter and 60 warrior, on my priest i love healing even though i'm shadow spec. its well fun. every single one of my Tp's are in Shadow, well, sort of, i got 10 in discipline, rest in shadow. i have nothing in holy and most of the raids that my guild do they sign me up even if i can't go. simply because they know i like healing even though i'm in a DPS type spec.

Thats real odd, i have a 60 pally and went with dps & back up healing as i wanted to solo. I have a priest, lvl 27 and i love being in groups to do nothing but heal. If not for the groups i would get no where in the game. I have atm about +150 to all healing spells and i love it !

It seems not the game but how much extra healing i can pile in :-)

I hated being a priest because my friends are the one who pressured me into it, and when I heal them and they still die, they get all pissed off like it was my fault.
