Umm...there is no true answer to that question, and never will be. It is merely a matter of opinion. I'd say try them both and find out for yourself, but Lineage II has no free trial. Ryzom does have an unlimited-time free trial.

It would help if you provided more detail as to what you're looking for in an MMORPG.

I would also say they are two ENTIRELY genred games.

Lineage II is more of a Grind in order to PvP game while Ryzom is an open classed grind, with community incentive, rather than large PvP incentive. They still have PvP, but it's not the only point to the game, like Lineage II.
