I know everyone thinks RuneScape is the worst MMO on the face of the Earth (pardon me if you have different opinions). Everyone says that it has horrible graphics, low quality sound and boring gameplay, but if the game was that bad, would there be over 150,000 players online nearly any given moment. You've got to hand it Jagex, that's pretty impressive for a browser-based MMORPG...

I over all hate this game. the thing is that the grahics suck, the music is horrible, no roleplaying, no nice people, freezes all the time(even with cable internet) and the customer service sucks. this game Sucks 4 value because it is not worth wasting hours and hours just trying to be better than ur freinds. watzit gona proove on runescape, and i dont care if it is a browser game or not. and the one fun thing about it is that you can blacksmith and mine, and do custimizable jobs that you cannot do is other mmos.(This game still sucks though, blacksmithing and cutting trees is all chance and takes no skill) over all though i hate this game. but if u like it dont feel offended. people who should play this game are: People with dial up internet, low video card, HAVE NO LIVES!!! But wait, if u never played this game, let me tell u wat u do. Okay, first off u start on some island and they point and arrow at him. okay, but what do u do. oh, i got it, u click on him. then he tells u to go somwhere and u keep doing random stuff until he finishes, and now u are off. now what do u do. lets try blacksmithing to raise money. okay, u start mining (which takes no skill at all) and u take that ore and put it in (u no that thing that looks like a big microwave. u cant tell by the graphics) and what, it doesnt work. all ur hard work was gone, and now u gotta do it agian, but wait, it freezes and now u gotta log on agian, and then u get scamed, and then u go to wild and get killed like 3 times, and then u start to sell how hide 4 100 each, and then u find out that u been scaming ur best freind, and then u have no freinds. PLAY RUNESCAPE AND GET NO FREINDS!

Yes, just because you don't like something, everyone else should hate it too. Brilliant logic  :roll: There's people who like and dislike everything. What do you expect to accomplish by half-assedly insulting a game? Just trying to annoy those who like it? Who are these "everyone" who say the game sucks? It'snpot that everyone hates it, you just surround yourself with people who share the same opinions as you.  :twisted:

Maybe your computer just sucks becuase for all the people I know it rarely freezes. I personally, do like 'wasting hours trying to be better than my friends' as you put it. Being the best is not the point. The point is setting goals and achieving them, but most of all, having fun. I do have a life also. I have lots of friends, a family, school, a boyfriend, all that stuff that 'people with lives have', and I play Rune Scape. Tutorial Island is to train new members of the game how to play. It isn't just 'random stuff'. Oh that thing that looks like a big microwave, that's a furnace. Maybe you've never seen one before, and that's why you don't know what it is. To add to your embarassment let me just say that if you're stupid enough to fall for a scam... Well... Then that's your fault. The wilderness is there so people can kill you to. That's kind of the point of it. There are lots of ways to make money too other than scamming and selling cow hides, as you do. They just require work. This isn't one of those easy, I've-been-playing-for-five-minutes-and-I'm-already-super-rich games. You have to work. It's a challenge. I suggest you spell correctly too, because you sound like a fifth grader. The graphics are good by the way. You just have it set to low detail.

i agree with Manjyome San, runescape is all about working, I think the graphics are fine and i dont mind the music. I also have a life. I work 11 hours a day week days and 6 hrs a day on weekends. Im married and will be a father in 3 months. I use runescape as a time fill in and i do enjoy playing to get better than my friends. Over my many years playing I've spent atleast 1000 hrs on it. Tutorial island is a great way to teach new players how to play, though i think there should be a way to skip it for the more experienced. So if you say runescape is stupid, why on one of the other threads do you say your rich? Seems as if you've spent hours playing it.

i agree runescape number 1 game they just take a quick glance then say it not good thats what i thoguht to when i begin to play but i love it now
