ZF: Nice = Getting screwed
Here's a story while I'm stuck at work.
A few days ago a guildie asked for a walkthru for that mojo mask from the Witchdoctor in ZF. I say I'll go.
Try #1: Well we don't get it, stupid 18% drop item. We did get a bunch of greens, I told him before we started if he absolutely Needs an item, to lot need on it... if you are going to equip it there and now. If not, I'm Greeding on everything to make up for repair/ammo/food cost.
He asks if I mind trying again. I say sure.
Try #2: Refer to Try #1 :/
By that time, it was 3 a.m. and I had work in a.m. so I log'd.
The next day after work, I log on.
Within 2 minutes of being on "Want to try mask again? =D"
Gah. I say "sure"
Try 3 + 4: Still no crappy mask, and a bunch of greens. Not getting rich by far, but makes up for the arrows and stuff.
Welp, by then it was late again, and had to log.
Next day same thing... get a tell. I say sure.
3rd mob into the run a 40G? Blue legs drop. I'm thinking "Finally! Something worthwhile to save towards my flying mount!" I lot greed. Well this guildie lots greed also. Of course he wins it >.>
Well now I'm a bit ticked. 1)I never asked for a tip to run him thru; 2)it's run NUMBER 5!! when I could have been lv70 by now lol.
Then to top that off, he wins a bunch of green lots after that. (oh and still no mask).
I made up my mind, that's the last time I run anyone thru anything ever!! lol.
*Now I know that's it's my fault that after the 1st run, I should have made some stipulation about drops, for every other run we had to do.
Anyone have this happen? or think it's normal for this to have happened? or won't walk anyone thru instances for this reason (if you were not there, the person who was getting walked thru would have never had a chance at it = no blue for joo!).
It was some plate stuff, not warlock material.. so it was only going to his pocket btw. *Holy h3ll, this turned out into a epic story* Thanks if anyone finished this one lol.
