γ^ō^γ Agility Guide γ^ō^γ

As many of us know, agility is one of the harder, slower skills to level up efficiently. In this guide, I will try to tell you the best way to level up your agility.

I have 99 agility and I feel that it would be a good thing for me to share my secrets for training the skill. (So does A Cole).
Table Of Contents:

Post 1: - Introduction
Post 2: - Levels 1-35
Post 3: - Levels 35-52
Post 4: - Levels 52-65
Post 5: - Levels 65-99
Post 6: - Summary: Levels 1-99
Post 7: - Helpful Hints and Player Suggestions
Post 8: - Frequently Asked Questions

Another Note: If you want more personal help, post here, tell me your current agility level and your goal agility level. If I am online at the time, then I will try my best to respond.

γ^ō^γ Levels 1-35 γ^ō^γ

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right now you should just be starting off with agility. You probably don't have much experience with the skill, so leveling here might be a challenge.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fastest: TOY MICE (Level 1) Credit: Shryk3r

REQUIREMENTS:

33 crafting (to make)
42 construction (to make)
1 REGULAR plank (to make)
1 steel bar (to make)

•If you want, you can just get another player to make them for you (which means you don't need any of those levels/items).

WHERE TO GET TOY MICE:

Simply, with the above materials and levels, craft mice from your Level 4 Crafting Stand in your Workshop. (You can also use someone else's workshop if you don't have one).

HOW TO USE TOY MICE:

To make this efficient, you must have at least half a dozen toy mice. Go to an enclosed area (RECOMMENDED: Burthrope Archer Towers CREDIT: Shimmri, or any other 1-4 squared area.) "Release" all the toy mice so they appear on the ground. Quickly click on them to either catch them, or fail (you get experience either way). When you've picked them all up, just drop them all again and repeat.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Fastest: GNOME COURSE (Level 1)

HOW TO GET TO THE STRONGHOLD:

•Talk to a spirit tree north of Varrock/south of Ardougne/Tree Gnome Village.

•From Ardougne head northwest.

•Take a gnome glider from Karamja/Al Kharid/Feldip Hills/White Wolf Mountain.

THE OBSTACLES:

Balance across the log
Climb up the net
Climb up the tree branch
Walk across the tight rope
Climb down the tree branch
Climb across the net
Crawl through the tubes

A completed lap gives about 87 experience.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Courses NOT Recommended at these levels:

•The Agility Pyramid - Slow
•Skullball Course - Slow
•Penguin Course - Slow

Toy mice are still a GREAT option at these levels. However, these are the other courses recommended.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

•With a games necklace teleport to the new Barbarian minigame. The course is right to the east.

•You must have completed the Barcrawl to get in.

Swing across the rope swing
Walk across the log
Climb up the net
Walk across the ledge
Climb over the (3) crumbling walls

A completed lap is 153 experience.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Fastest: BRIMHAVEN AGILITY ARENA (Minimum Level 40, 45+ recommended)

----------------
FOR AN EXTREMELY COMPREHENENSIVE GUIDE ON THIS COURSE CHECK THE POSTS BY "A Cole" ON PAGES 82-83.
----------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW TO GET TO THE WILDERNESS COURSE:

WHAT TO BRING:

•Bring a dagger, boots of lightness, and a full inventory of food.

THE COURSE:

NOTE: Watch out for pkers. If you see someone who you think will attack you, then try to find a different world. If you fail some of the obstacles on the course, you may fall into an underground pit with skeletons. Quickly run north to climb up a ladder.

A full lap gives 572 experience.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Fastest: WEREWOLF COURSE (Level 60)

HOW TO GET THERE:

•Make your way to Canifis. Go to the swamp. To the south part of the swamp you will find a hut. You need to have the Ring of Charos. Climb down the ladder in the hut.

Jump across (5) stepping stones
Jump over (3) hurdles
Crawl through one of the 3 pipes
Pick up the stick the Werewolf trainer throws for you
Climb over the skull cliff
Use the zipline to the bottom
Talk to the Wolf Trainer to give him your stick (extra xp)

γ^ō^γ Levels 65-99 γ^ō^γ

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are two good options at these levels. I will cover one, the Ape Atoll Course. The other, which is very similar in experience is the Dorgesh-Kaan (not covered here).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE APE ATOLL COURSE (Level 65+ recommended) Official World is 114.

HOW TO GET THERE:

•Make your way to the Gnome Stronghold. Go to the second floor of the Grand Tree. On the east side talk to Daero. He will take you to the hangar. Talk to the other gnome to travel to Crash Island. Talk to the gnome there to take a boat to Ape Atoll. Transform into a ninja monkey. Head to Marim and keep going east to the city. Head south to the course.

•Cast "Teleport to Ape Atoll". Transform into a ninja monkey. Head south to the course.

WHAT TO BRING:

•Make sure to bring your ninja monkey gree-gree, food (if you're below level 75 agility), Boots of Lightness, agility potions (optional), and a teleport (optional).

THE COURSE:

NOTE: You MUST be a ninja monkey to use this course. At level 75 agility you will stop failing the obstacles there.

Jump across a stepping stone
Climb up a tree
Climb across the monkey bars
Climb up the skull slope
Swing across the river on the rope
Climb down the vine

A completed lap gives 580 experience.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Courses NOT Recommended at these levels:

γ^ō^γ Summary: Levels 1-99 γ^ō^γ

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Levels 1-35: Toy Mice
Levels 35-52: Barbarian Outpost Course (possibly toy mice)
Levels 52-65: Wilderness Course
Levels 65-99: Ape Atoll Course/Dorgesh-Kaan

•NOTE: You may think other ways are easier to level up for you. That is fine. These are the courses that I used at those levels that I found to be the fastest.

γ^ō^γ Helpful Hints γ^ō^γ

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

•BOOTS OF LIGHTNESS

---> They reduce your weight by -4.5kg. This can help your energy drain slower. When training agility for a long time this is a must-have accessory.

How to get them:

Head to Ardougne. Go northwest to a forest directly south of the Ranger Guild until you see a "!" dungeon sign. The entrance of the dungeon will be surrounded by pillars. You will need a light source and knife. Once in the dungeon head west to a ladder going down. After you have climbed the ladder down you should be in a dark room. On the other side of the room is a web. Use your knife to cut the web and take the Boots of Lightness from behind it.

•SPOTTED AND SPOTTIER CAPES

---> The Spotted Cape reduces your weight by -2kg. The spottier cape reduces your weight by -5kg. The requirement for the spotted cape is 40 hunting. The requirement for the Spottier Cape is 66 hunting.

How to get them:

For the Spotted Cape bring 2 spotted kebbit furs (gotten from falconry area) and 400 gp to the fancy dress shop owner in Varrock. He will make the Spotted Cape for you. To get the Spottier Cape bring 2 dashing kebbit furst (also gotten from the falconry area) and 800 gp to the fancy dress shop owner in Varrock. He will also make this cape for you.

•PENANCE GLOVES

---> This reduces your weight by -5 kilograms. You can get them from Barbarian Assault.

γ^ō^γ Frequently Asked Questions γ^ō^γ

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What is your agility level?

A: My agility level is currently 99 (Go me! ).

Q: Did you use this method to your current level?

A: Yes, I did. I also used the Brimhaven course a lot. Although I did this, I look back now and see that it was definately not the fastest way.

Q: Where are you currently training?

A: Although I don't train agility anymore, you used to be able to find me at world 89 at the Ape Atoll Course.

Q: What course is better to 99, Dorgesh-Kaan or Ape Atoll?

A: At 70+ agility the Dorgesh-Kaan is faster for experience. However, the experience is only slightly faster and the course is slightly harder. It would be a toss-up of preference for which course you'd rather have to 99.
