Since Blizz seems to be cracking down on delivering large amount of gold through the in-game mail system why not just quit using it?  I know that its not always convenient to go face to face, or char too char, but have you ever thought about that auction house in the game?

Just send the customer some truly useless item and have them put it on the AH for what ever amount they have order from you and  then you buy it. this way  the player gets the funds that he or she ordered  and no one thinks anything is up other than that some one just paid way to much for a sorry item on the AH...  Plus if this is done at a neutral zone then it wouldn't matter who farmed the gold because alliance gold or horde gold could be used to buy the item and could cut down on farming time on your end.  This may be a bit more work but just thought it would be something to look into.  ;)
