First impression:
Voyage Century is a pretty different game compared to those I have played before this.I actually toke some time to understand the game myself. The graphics is prefectly done. With the style that is similar to Europe during its Pirate times will surely grant players a different experince through out the game.Developers of Voyage Century did a good job on tuning the soundtracks and FX of the game.Realistic sound effect such as movement and waves of the sea impresses me.Not the mention those canon sound effect.Just awesome.
Graphics 7/10
In voyage century the developers made the game well enough for those who have an high end computer to play the game pretty well. Also those with a low end computer can also play the game as well. It uses many advanced technology and then create a 3D online game engine which is first-class in the world. On one hand, it guarantees the quality of game. On the other hand, it lowers requirement to the computer setting and the capacity of customers computers. So players can feel the interest in the game. It represents the recent international highest level on 3D online game.
Sound 7/10
Imagine listening to some open sea music while setting sail to voyage out on a mission which gives you that push on obtaining those goods. Well in voyage century the music tends to put you right in the mood.
Gameplay 8/10
Supposedly the first of its kind, Voyage Century is a MMORPG that takes gameplay to the next level. Gamers will be able to trade, craft, wage war around the world, even search for buried treasure, and interact with other players for good measure. The 16th century inspired themes play a heavy part in character development and atmospheric immersion. And since its FTP (Free-to-Play) it makes it that much better. While I would be tempted to say something smarmy about the game, I just cant think of anything. This is also considering that the developers have gone out on a ledge to provide something new and free. I have to applaud IGG for their continued risk factors. Console publishers, please take note.
